Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Special Day Supplies website and your rental of equipment from us. By booking a rental, you agree to these Terms.
Our Services
Special Day Supplies provides party and event equipment rental, including tents, furniture, decor, entertainment equipment, and related add-ons, delivered to and picked up from the customer's event location within our service area (Durham Region and Toronto, Ontario).
Bookings and Payment
- A booking is confirmed once payment is successfully processed through our online checkout.
- The total charged at checkout may include a refundable security deposit hold in addition to the rental price. The deposit is released once all rented items are returned in their original condition.
- Prices, availability, and delivery fees are shown at the time of booking and may vary by package, region, and date.
Delivery and Pickup
Same-day rentals are typically delivered and picked up within the hours shown at checkout (generally 8am–9pm), unless an overnight extension is purchased. Specific delivery and pickup windows will be confirmed with you directly.
Equipment Responsibility
As the renter, you accept full responsibility for the rented equipment for the duration of your rental period. You are responsible for any damage, loss, theft, or destruction of equipment while it is in your care. Repair or replacement costs may be deducted from your refundable deposit, with any amount beyond the deposit billed separately. Full details are provided in the Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver presented and signed during the booking process.
Cancellations and Changes
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your booking. Cancellation terms (including any applicable refund amount based on how close to the event date you cancel) will be communicated to you directly upon request.
Limitation of Liability
Special Day Supplies is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our equipment or services, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.
Safety
Renters are responsible for the safe use and supervision of all rented equipment, including the safety of all guests, including minors, for the duration of the rental period.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
